This technique is used for all “straight up” cocktails (i.e. served chilled in a cocktail glass) when the recipe includes juices or pre-mixes. All ingredients needs to be mixed together, chilled and diluted with a small amount of water.
- Fill the serving glass with ice and add water to quickly cool down the glass - Add ice in the mixing glass and pour all ingredients in the mixing tin of the shaker - Shake for 5 times - Pour the drink in the chilled serving glass using a strainer

Size: from 16cl to 24cl The cocktail glass is commonly used to prepare “straight up” alcoholic cocktails without ice in the glass, usually shaken.
Shake all ingredients and pour into it in a chilled cocktail glass.
